Orb gathers your friends around an online 3D table, with an assistant that listens: ask it to
move a token, roll the dice or bring the night down, and it does. And everything can be done by hand too,
without it.
Animated figurines on a map of ruins, a campfire, a blazing fireball.
Two ways to play, each one complete
Orb has everything you expect from a virtual table, and every feature makes sense at first sight, by
hand. Everything it can do can be done by voice too.
Simple with the mouse
Choices in words rather than numbers, only what helps right now, and what each setting does written out
plainly. The game master sets up a scene without a manual.
Drag a token onto the map, it settles on its hex.
The tool in hand says what a click does, and how to stop.
"See as the players" to check what they see.
Everything by voice
An animated 3D assistant that speaks: you give it a name, a personality and a voice. Hold Space, talk,
let go: it understands and acts on the table.
"Move my ranger three hexes north."
"Roll 2d6+3 for my attack."
"Make it night and light the crypt's torches."
Complete doesn't mean complicated.
Every feature of Orb is designed to be found and understood without a manual.
A table that comes alive with AI
Orb is built on AI, and that's where it shows its full worth: the table listens, answers, draws and
sculpts during the game. It works without AI too, with the mouse, but connected is how it really changes
the way you play.
Text
The assistant
Anthropic's Claude, or another compatible AI. It understands what you say, acts on the table, reads
your rules, prepares your scenes.
Images
ChatGPT or Gemini
Maps, portraits and decor drawn on request, laid on the table right away.
3D
Tripo
A 3D figurine, creature or object in a few minutes, from a sentence or a picture; animated when it's a
character.
Voice
ElevenLabs
A natural voice for the assistant, and recognition of yours, with nothing to install.
Each service is connected with the host's key, in Orb's settings. The host sees what
it costs and sets a limit per player and per evening.
Cthulhu and his followers in a sunken temple: figurines made by the 3D AI.
Made by AI
Figurines worthy of an artist, in a few minutes
Every figurine in this picture was made by the 3D AI, from a description or a drawing, then placed on
the table. Scales, tentacles, the folds of a cloak: the detail holds up close.
Your group meets a creature that exists nowhere? It can be on the table before the scene is over.
A shoggoth, a naga and Hastur, up close.
Endless content
What you need, when you need it
Figurines made by the AI join your collections and come back from one game to the next. A character
gets a skeleton and its animations: it walks, strikes and takes hits like the others.
Without any paid service, the assistant also builds objects, creatures and dungeons itself from simple
shapes, as many as you like.
Everything a table needs
For the game master and the players alike, from the first map to the last fight.
A real 3D table
Your map laid on a table, a hex grid, tokens and animated figurines that walk, strike and take hits. A
free camera, or ready-made views.
A living world
Relief, painted grounds (grass, sand, snow, cobbles…), lakes, rivers, lava. Rain wets the ground, snow
settles, fog rises.
What the players see
Fog of war, each token's vision, walls, doors and windows that block sight. Day, dusk or night, and
flickering torches.
Spells and areas
A blazing fireball, a frosting cone of cold, a crackling bolt of lightning, an aura that follows its
token, a projectile from one token to another. And drawings on the map.
Dice that roll
3D dice thrown over the map, drawn at random by the server. Public, private or secret rolls, and your
game's own dice rules.
Character sheets
Read like a paper sheet, with gauges and states on the tokens. Templates for almost any game, game
systems and their compendium.
Running the game
A campaign journal, the turn order for fights, campaigns and their restore points. The assistant also
reads your rulebooks as PDF.
Collections
3D models, maps, portraits and decor kept in collections. Figurines and dungeon pieces included, your
own packs, Universal VTT maps with their walls.
Made by AI
The assistant builds objects, creatures and dungeons in 3D. With a service chosen by the host, it also
draws pictures and sculpts realistic models.
On the table
Pictures of Orb, taken on the table as it runs today.
What a player sees: their tokens' sight, and what they have already explored.
Fog of war
Everyone sees what their tokens see
The game master chooses what the players discover: nothing, what they reveal with a brush, or what
their tokens explore as they go. At night, only the lights show the way.
The game master sees everything, and one button shows the table through the players' eyes.
Rain on the lake: wet ground, puddles, rippling water.
Weather and water
The weather shows on the table
Rain, storm, snow, blizzard, fog or sandstorm: the weather marks the ground and shortens what tokens
can see. Lakes, rivers, swamps and lava are painted hex by hex.
A scene made without a map: grounds, a path, a lake, a hill, a house and trees.
No map needed
Paint the land, lay the decor
No picture for tonight? Paint the grounds, raise a hill, dig a lake, place trees and houses. Or ask
the assistant, in one sentence.
A crypt built by the assistant, its walls blocking sight.
Dungeons
"Build me a crypt with three rooms"
The assistant lays the floors, walls, pillars and doors. The walls block the tokens' sight: the fog of
war works inside right away.
Play with friends, each at home
The table runs on the host's computer; friends join it through a link.
The host installs Orb
On a Windows PC. Their campaigns, maps and collections stay on their computer.
They put the table online
One click: Orb opens a secure link (HTTPS, through Cloudflare), protected by a password. A fixed address
is possible with a Cloudflare account.
Friends join in
In their browser, with nothing to install, or from the Orb app ("Join a table"). Everyone picks their
name, language and view.
The host's AIs
Players enjoy the AIs the host has connected, with no account to create and no key to give. The host
stays in control of what they cost.
Voice, your choice
The microphone can work in the browser (free, nothing leaves the PC) or online. The assistant answers
in writing, or out loud with an online voice.
Coming soon on Steam
Orb is coming to Steam, for Windows, in English and French. The game's page isn't published yet: come back
soon.
